É só falar Mozart, Beethoven, catedral, roda gigante e o mundo inteiro sabe que estamos falando de Viena. Acontece que essa cidade incrível é muuuuito mais que isso.

 

Por exemplo… uma das capitais da música eletrônica, áreas abertas ao graffitti e street art ou simplesmente um dos maiores investimentos municipais do planeta para a indústria criativa! E assim nasceu – de novo no meu bairro Leopoldstadt hehe – uma das minhas lojinhas + café preferidas: Supersense!

Localizada num prédio histórico em estilo veneziano, o espaço foi restaurado cuidadosamente antes da instalação da loja e recebeu uma decoração que mistura peças vintages e modernas em perfeita harmonia com a arquitetura histórica. Só a beleza do lugar já vale a visita! Mas, estando lá, por que não apreciar um dos melhores café da cidade ou experimentar a Craft Beer, cerveja artesanal do Tirol, e beliscar algumas delícias escolhidas a dedo pela equipe do café? E o mundo encantado de Supersense ainda mal começou…

 

A loja não é um lugar comum… a grande gama de produtos pré-históricos oferecidos (sim, pra quem acha que a vida começou na era digital… eles só tem produtos artesanais e analógicos!) precisa ser descoberta com carinho e atenção: ali se pode fazer a maior foto instantânea do mundo, ou gravar seu próprio LP numa cabine de madeira, imprimir cartazes, divertir-se com artigos de papelaria vintage de beleza incomum e muito mais…

Entre os artistas que vendem ali está Stephanie Wilhelm, que faz a mão cúpulas de abajur com papéis vintage e reciclados irresistíveis… Foi essa a solução que eu dei para dois pequenos abajures que eu trouxe da casa dos meus pais já há muitos anos e estavam sem cúpula. Eles agora ficam na entrada do meu apartamento enchendo meus olhos de alegria (e saudade) cada vez que entro em casa.

If you only say Mozart, Beethoven, cathedral, ferris wheel and everybody knows you are talking about Vienna. But the city is muuuuuch more than only that.

For instance… one of the main cities for electronic music, open areas for graffitti and street art or simply one of highest municipal investiments for creative industries. Worldwide 😉 And so sprout -again in my district Leopoldstadt hehe – one of my favorite stores+cafe: Supersense!

Placed in a historic house em venezian style, the space was carefully restored before the store came in and is decorated with a mix of modern and vintage pieces in perfect harmony with the historic architecture. The beauty of the place itself is already worth a visit! But, since you are there, why not taking one fo the best coffees in town or trying their Craft Beer, a handmade product from Tirol region, and picking some delights specially chosen by the cafe team? And the enchanted world of Supersense is only beginning…

The store is not aregular place… an enormous selection of pre-historic products (yes, for those who think life began within the digital era… they strictly only offer  handmade or analogic products!) must be discovered with love and care: there you can take the biggest instant photo in the world, record your own LP in a wood cabin, press your own posters, have fun with vintage stationary articles of uncommon beauty and much more…

Among the artists selling at Supersense you find Stephanie Wilhelm, who handcrafts lampshades out of vintage papers and recycling materials that are just irresistible… That was the solution I found for two small lamps I brought from my parent home in Brazil years ago and neede new shades. By now they are standing in the entrance of my pad, filling my eyes with joy (and nostalgy) every time I come home.
