Essa semana brotou tão verdinha com o post de cor do domingo que deu vontade de continuar verdejando. O verde talvez seja a cor que mais merece o adjetivo “natural”… não só por ser a cor que melhor representa a natureza mas também pelo carácter de sua presença em nossas vidas. Tanto que quando eu penso sobre qualquer combinação de cores, o verde entra sempre logo no início, no grupo de cores que eu considero “neutras”, tipo “dessas não dá pra escapar” mesmo (assim como todos os tons de branco e preto). E nem teria razão alguma pra querer escapar dessa cor que exala saúde!

Essa relação entre a cor verde com tudo o que é saudável ou que trabalha para restabelecer a saúde atualmente é tão forte e significativa em nossas vidas, que a palavra”verde” praticamente se emancipou da sua função inicial de designar uma cor. Hoje em dia, verde significa uma postura de vida que aponta para tudo o que é (ou deveria ser) natural: honestidade, pureza, saúde do indivíduo em harmonia com o planeta que habita… a paz verde pregada pelos ativistas que lutam contra as atrocidades que o homem “apronta” contra nossa casa terrena, nossa casa verde!

Corpo Verde + Lar Verde (no original Green Body + Green Home) é uma expressão que traduz perfeitamente essa harmonia saudável do ser humano com o planeta. Foi pensando nisso que eu fui buscar a inspiração dessa semana na galeria e site desses meus novos amigos no Instagram. Primeiro eu me senti atraído pelas imagens mostrando ambientes super aconchegantes, cheios de materiais naturais e cores suaves que me convidavam a sentir-se em casa, principalmente pensando naquele tipo de tapete tribal que eu gosto tanto. Mas Green Body + Green Home é muito mais que isso: um programa completo de bem estar (incluindo massagem, tratamento de pele e até quiroprática) que nos ensina a experimentar em profundidade os vários níveis de significado da palavra “casa”… Pra mim, harmonia é isso, uma sintonia tranquila entre as moradas do corpo na Terra e o corpo que abriga nossa alma.

Dá só uma olhada nos sites de Green Body + Green Home e depois me diz se não dá vontade de levar tudo pra casa ou, simplesmente, entrar pelo site e morar lá dentro. Eu iria!! rsrsrsrs…

This week greened so green with the colour post on sunday that I wished to go on greening. That might be the colour that most easily deserves the adjective “natural”…not only because it is the best representation of nature but also by the quality of this colour’s presence in our lives. That is so strong for me that when I think about colour combinations, green comes right at the beginning, in the group of colours I name “neutrals” or “no way to scape them” (just like all nuances of black and white). And there is really no reason to scape from a colour that exhales health!

This relation between the colour green and everything that is healthy or that works to reestablish health is nowadays so strong and significative in our lives that the word “green” almost emancipated itself from its original function designating a colour. Today, green means an attitude towards life assigning everything that is (or should be) natural: honesty, purity, health of the individual in harmony with the planet he inhabits… the green peace preached by activists who fight against atrocities mankind does against our earthly home, our green home!

Green Body + Green Home is an expression that perfectly translates this healthy harmony between the human being and the planet. I was thinking about that when searching for this week’s inspiration at the gallery and site from these new friends of mine at Instagram. First I felt attracted by their images showing super cozy rooms, full of natural materials and soft colours that invited me to feel at home, specially when I think about that kind of tribal rugs I love so much. But Green Body + Green Home is much more than that: a complete wellfare program that shows us how to deepen our experience about the diferent levels of significance of the word “home”… For me, that is the meaning of harmony, a calm syntony between the homes of our bodies on Earth and the body that shelters our soul.
