Manhã de segunda feira! Passei a vida ouvindo que esse é um dia triste e confesso que muitas vezes a ideia de mais um início de semana só me fez suspirar mas… quando isso acontece é hora de parar e ver o que anda acontecendo porque algo está pedindo para ser mudado. Eu, pra variar, estou mudando um tantão de coisas (que novidade, não?) e, pelo jeito, está tudo tomando seu bom caminho pois passei sem suspiro nenhum no teste desta segunda de manhã: pulei da cama mais cedo e antes mesmo do café da manhã já estava ligado na minha produção e só de pensar nela já fiquei cheio de energia.

Foi nesse clima que eu encontrei a mensagem perfeita para o dia de hoje: “Cor pode levantar defunto!” da musa inspiradora de felicidade Iris Apfel. Encontrar uma frase que combina com o meu dia, de uma personagem atual que admiro, justamente na galeria que eu queria apresentar hoje no blog é anúncio de sintonia correta! @herk_collective é o instagramer responsável pela citação que veio acompanhando mais uma linda foto de seus trabalhos na recuperação de móveis antigos.

Já que o post começou falando de energia… a energia geral da galeria de herk_collective é boa e tranquila, resultado de uma harmonia entre a beleza das fotos, o calor da mobília e o cuidado com os textos que acompanham cada uma delas. O recurso de texto aliás, é normalmente muito mal explorado no Instagram – por ser uma plataforma predominantemente de imagens – mas herk_collective sabe utilizá-lo com leveza, satisfazendo a curiosidade de quem não escapou ao fascínio irresistível de suas imagens. A descrição do trabalho artesanal de acabamento com pintura revela respeito à identidade original dos móveis antigos e o carinho ao dar vida atual a eles. O contexto clássico e elegante em que ele apresenta seus móveis é repleto de calor humano, sem espaço para ostentação ou conflito. Não é belo e distante… é belo e convidativo!

Monday morning! I heard all my life that this is a sad day and I must confess that often times the idea of another week beginning made me sigh but… when that happens it is time to stop and look what is going on because something is screaming to be changed. I am – once again – changing a lot of things (that is really nothing new for me…) and everything seems to be taking its good way because I passed the “monday morning test”  with no sigh at all: I jumped out of bed earlier and even before my breakfast I already began to think about what I have to produce today. And only by thinking about it I was already full of energy!

It was in this kind of mood that I found the perfect message for today: ” Colour can raise the dead!” by happyness inspiring muse Iris Apfel. To find a phrase that fits my day, from a modern character who I admire exactly in the gallery I wanted to feature today here in the blog is annoucement of right tuning! @herk_collective is the Instagramer responsible for bringing the quote beside another wonderful photo of his work with antiques.

Since this post began talking about energy… the general energy at herk_collectie’s gallery is so good and calm, resulting of a harmony between the beauty of the pictures, the warmth of the furniture and the care with texts that come along with each one of them. Since Instagram is basically a platform for images, its text feature is normally quite unexplored but herk_collective knows how to use it with lightness, satisfaying the curiosity of those who didn’t escape the irresistible allure of his images.
