Bem, não é só Viena… todo mundo quer ter isso ou aquilo enquanto outros tentam se livrar exatamente da mesma coisa. Foi pensando nisso que já há muitos surgiu o site austríaco de compras e vendas “Willhaben” que, em alemão, quer dizer simplesmente, “quer ter”.

 

Seja a porca de um parafuso ou um prédio de 20 andares, encontra-se de tudo… de vez em quando. O que tinha hoje, não terá amanhã pois sempre tem alguém querendo ter a mesma coisa que o outro, só que um pouquinho mais rápido. Então, o segredo é saber que tipo de objetos estão normalmente na sua mira, saber qual seção te interessa e ficar sempre de olho, aparecendo algo que parece valer a pena, o bote tem que ser rápido.

Se o seu interesse for, por exemplo, especificamente por móveis art nouveau como essa seleção de fotos que eu fiz, as ofertas de hoje dariam água na boca… Quer pendurar seus casacos, lenços e guarda-chuvas num chapeleiro branco? Ou prefere não pendurar nada para deixar o aplique de couro à mostra?

De qualquer maneira, quem curte antiguidades sabe o quanto é gostoso navegar por esses sites e sonhar livre por outras épocas a partir da inspiração dos objetos oferecidos sem nem precisar levantar da poltrona. Outra opção é lembrar-se que hoje é sábado, dia do mercado das pulgas mais famoso do país e, pelo menos agora bem cedinho, o dia parece que será lindo… céu super azul e um solzinho contente apesar do frio. Hmmmm… eu vou! 😉

Well, not only Vienna… everyone wants to have this or that while others try to get rid of exactly the same thing. The austrian site called “Willhaben” – which simply means “wants to have” in german – was inspired by this situation and there you can buy or sell nearly everything.

Is it a screw or a 20 floors’ building you are looking for? You will find it… sometimes! What was offered today won’t be there tomorrow because there is always someone who wants to have the same thing and was a little bit faster than you. So, the secret is to know what kind of objects you normally have an eye for, what sections interest you most and look at it regularly. As soon as something that seems to be really worth for you appears, grab quickly!

If your interest is specifically – let’s say – art nouveau furniture like the photos’ selection I did here, the offers today would make you dream… Do you want to hang your coats, scarfs and umbrellas on a white wardrobe? Or do you prefer to hang nothing just to exhibit that elegant leather applique?

Anyway, if you also like antiques you might know how fun it is to surf those sites and dream with freedom through other epochs due to the inspiration of these objects put to sell without even getting out of your armchair. Another option is to remember that today is saturday, the day of Austria’s most famous flea market and – at least now early in the morning – the day seems to be wonderfull.. super blue sky and a lovely sun despite the cold weather. Hmmmm… I’m on the way! 😉
